Specific Prayer Requests

Dear Family and Friends,

As I write this I am in AWE of our what our LORD has done!!! You have lifted the triplets and me up in prayer, and I am sure that our Heavenly Father has heard our cries!!! You have also gone above and beyond on helping me keep these babies in by providing meals, caring for Harper, running errands, doing housework, etc!!!

Praise the Lord with me because I will be delivering these boys TOMORROW Thursday, July 16th at 9:30 AM! I will be 35 weeks exactly – 1 week over “full term” for triplets!!! Would you please continue to pray for us and the huge team at Baptist that will be delivering the three?

Some specific things to pray for:

– That there are no complications during surgery.
– That the Great Physician would work through my doctor, Dr. Audrey Kang.
– That the boys are healthy with strong lungs and won’t have to go to the NICU (or at least spend minimal time there)
– That their suck/swallow/breathe reflex will be developed. (this “usually” doesn’t develop until week 36-38 in pregnancy, but we all know that these boys are anything but “usual”!!!)
– That I won’t lose a lot of blood during surgery.
– That I don’t get sick during or after surgery. (I hate to throw-up, so it would just be so wonderful if I don’t have to deal with this).
– That my recovery will go as smooth as possible, and that we will be home as soon as we can.
– That we can bring all 3 boys home with us!!!
– That Harper handles all the craziness of this week, as well as the major life changes she has in store. ☺

There is so much power in prayer, so thank you so much for praying for us!!! We are so excited to announce and introduce you to Maverick, Warner, and Crews!!! Can’t wait for you to ‘meet’ them!!! We will REJOICE together!!!

Hey, while you’re waiting, why don’t you guess how much you think they will weigh!!! Remember the last “estimate” was only 12% accurate, so don’t go by that too much 😉 Guess A- the cumulative weight B- 3 different weights for the boys – you don’t have to match A w/ weight A, B w/ B, etc. Maybe there will be a prize in store?!?! :-)

  2. So excited to see the post that the boys are here and are doing great..I’m sure everything will go smoothly! Will be praying for that as well! Poor Harper! I bet she’ll do great as well…but I just brought home 1 baby and my 17 month old has had some adapting to do…can’t imagine bringing home 3!

    Guess B: individual= 6.1, 6.2, 5.8

  7. I’m so excited for you! You, Chris, & sweet Harper are in my thoughts & prayers…thank you so much for posting the prayer request specifics. I know you are so strong & healthy & everything will be wonderful. I am praying for you now & will keep you in my prayers…looking forward to an update from your sis :)

    So, here is my guess: 14.5 pounds total baby weight

    A – 5.4

    I think the boys will weigh 5.3, 4.9, 4.5

  11. Well here goes, 6.1, 5.9, 6.2 = 18 lbs. You have done super and the surgery will be a piece of cake for you. It is all in the attitude, but more importantly you will have the power of prayer and it’s calming effect on your family. I believe you are a walking miracle ML.   12. ML– I am seriously so excited! I just knew you would make it this far! I knew this would be OK, better than OK really! And I also have thought….that you were gonna have some big triplets….so my guess is
    A- 16.15 lbs of baby ( you look amazing by the way! )
    B- 6.1, 5.6, and 5. 8

    my husband wants in on the guessing:
    A- 16.1
    B- 5.8, 5.7, 5.2

  13. A friend of mine directed me to your blog just a week ago. We are 35 weeks 5 days pregnant with breech twins. We too are facing surgery in the future so I know your prayer requests all too well and will be praying for you.

  14. ML… we love you and Chris and of course the rest of the “crew”! We will be praying for all SIX of you tomorrow. Can’t wait to hear that the boys are here safe and sound!!!

  16. It brings a tear to my eye to see how the Lord has worked in your lives over these past 4 years. From trying so hard to get pregnant with Harper and until now, when you will tomorrow be a family of 6! We have been praying for you and will continue to do so form many more months to come. So here are my guesses…

  19. I have been following your blog for the entire pregnancy and pray for you “4” everyday. My bible study has set up a prayer vigil for you tonight and tomorrow so that someone will be praying for you at all times.
