SO, I have blogged 3 days in a row. Much improved. But then, I got distracted by The Office last night, and forgot. Oh well. Picking up from here. Mom flies in tomorrow, and I am so excited! We are going to organize and go shopping over at HG Hills where they have Whole Foods and Anthropologie. I feel very *green* when I go there. We hope to get some yummy & healthy food. As well as some Christmas/Birthday presents.

Tonight we are going to a Costume Party. And I have yet to get a costume. Harper will be a pumpkin. And Chris has a hideous mullet wig. I just don’t love dressing up like I used to. Maybe I will be the original “black-eyed P.” It is cheap & that is why it sounds appealing.

Okay. Harper is clawing at my leg. She is hungry.

So, I have seen a ton of signs advertising Jazzercise around our area. I have heard of it, but thought it was a fad in the 80’s with Jane Fonda leotards and big hair. I *secretly* wanted to try it, but I was not brave enough to attempt such things by myself. So, I decided that I would just stick to what I knew… the YMCA. (However, for the YMCA to work for you, you must actually GO.)

I received a fun little piece of mail the other day that was advertising Jazzercise. It said it was looking for 25 women in our area that needed to lose 15-100 lbs. Oooo me, pick me! So, I called the number, thinking it was going to be a scam. But, then I got to meet a very nice lady who told me all about the Forever Fit program they were starting. After meeting with her and talking to Chris, I decided it was time to join. Plus, here are my incentives…

* 12 week program
* Measured before and after the program
* Given nutrition classes
* Personal training classes
* Can attend any (and every – ha!) class offered at this location
* If successful, I will be used for a Jazzercise testimonial!

(all of this a $250 value for FREE! I just have to pay the regular monthly fee that other members have to pay. Not bad at all! Oh and childcare is only a $1 per session)

I have been loving my classes. I go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Every 4 weeks, I will add another class. So, by the end of it I will be going 5 times a week – yikes! But, it really is so much fun, AND its only a mile from where we live.

So…..Wednesdays are going to be my weigh-in days…

Wow… I’m making myself sit down and blog tonight. I like it!

(OH, I decided to post the *MONDAY BLUES* post I referred to… it wasn’t that bad…haha)

Since I usually see those lists about random stuff about yourself on other people’s blogs, I decided to make my own up. Ha! So here are some random things about me, my life, & my family…

* I love folding warm laundry. It smells so good. However, I usually fold it once it is cold, wrinkled, and I have to iron it.

* I hate flannel sheets but love flannel pj’s.

* Harper is named after a football player that Chris saw on TV one Sunday afternoon.

* Chris has very pretty (and soft) feet for a boy. I love to snuggle them at night. We call it “feetsies.”

* I have a deep desire to be an avid Wholefoods Shopper, but I can’t convince myself to spend that much for groceries. I am currently reading a book about buying Organic food. I’m overwhelmed.

* I have been JAZZERCISING (is that a verb?) for 2 weeks now, and it is the most fun I’ve had exercising ever… even if I am doing 80’s dance moves! Kick ball change & Jazz Squares!!!

*Ever since I was in about 2nd grade, I HAVE to put lotion on after I get out of the shower. I haven’t missed a day that I can think of… even when I went to Kenya, I put on lotion. I sound WAY more high maintenance that I really am! I just HATE dry skin.

* I french braided my hair for the first time in years tonight.

* Before I got to bed, I get giddy about the thought of drinking my coffee with french vanilla creamer in the morning.

* I went to nursing school for 2 semesters, and made A’s in all my classes. I loved it! Do you know what made me change my mind? The CPR class. It totally freaked me out! I changed my major the next week. Sometimes I think I may go back to nursing one day… in the very distant future… once my children have de-synthesized me some!:-)

* I am currently doing my dream job… stay at home mama!

* I want to re-new my wedding vows one day so that our children know we are committed for life! It wouldn’t hurt to do it in Hawaii… would it?!?

* I am tired, and am going to bed.

I actually left off about how terrible my Monday was, but I have chosen not to talk about that. I think a couple of initials will sum it up… DMV… does any one have a pleasant time there?

So, Chris’ b-day is 5 days after mine (*technically* 360 days *before* mine) but anyway… He really likes to keep his birthday low key. But, I come from a family that does birthdays “high” key (hahaha) So, I wanted to respect his wishes, and not make too big a deal out of it. I made him an ice cream cake! It was yum! We sang to him here (well, I did) and…

Then, this was the birthday boy’s breakfast. The YUMMIEST GOOIEST ICING on a cinnamon roll, some bacon & eggs… and we sang to him again!!! (and then all the members in my family proceeded to call him and sing to him. hahahahahaha I love it! And he secretly does too)

Oh, do you remember me telling you about the TJMaxx Plates I bought? Well here they are…

(anyone have any ideas of what I can do to cover up the closet? I was thinking curtains, but what color? The same as the ones hanging? What about something bamboo-ish?)
