We’re Baaaack!

I have no idea where to begin. It has been a wonderful couple of months.

We are pretty much settled in our new house & are able to stretch out! So nice! Here is a picture of our cozy abode in the snow…

We had a great Thanksgiving (the day after we moved) and a crazy Christmas & New Years.

I think we have had visitors every weekend since, but it has been fun!

I am going to try to update with pictures, but I got a new camera (my surprise Christmas present from Chris!!!), and today when I went to download pictures I had taken 714. HOLY MOLY!!!! So, I have to go through them & figure out what is internet worthy.

The boys turned 6 months on the 16th & Harper will be two this month. I’ve been planning her party & I am sooo excited…can’t wait to show pictures!

Anyway, let me try to gather my thoughts and write a post that isn’t like a ping pong ball. Oh well, guess you have to start somewhere. So, here are some pictures because I know that is what you all really want 🙂

(aaaaahhhh it feels good to be back)

Moving!

We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

We have 4 healthy kiddos

and

we are moving into a new house!!!

It was completely the Lord.

Today we are in the middle of a jumbled house but I am completely chilled out about it! Thank you Jesus!

Movers are here packing stuff up & we move tomorrow. We are having Thanksgiving at our house & I am so excited this year’s celebration!!!

Also, I just wanted to let you know that I am taking a blogging break for a while. (Seems like I’ve already started it – haha). I will still be *twittering*, but we are going to go primative for a while… no TV, no internet! Crazy!!!

We will see how long it will last… hahah. I will be back eventually. I think. So, I hope that all of you have a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, & Happy 2010!!! I will be thinking of and praying for you, all of my readers – especially those of you who have had a difficult time conceiving children. I know the heaviness of your heart, and I pray that this blog has been an encouragement to you. God is faithful. He hears your heart’s desire. Make Him first in your life. Seek Him with all of your heart. He is good and loves you so much.

Thank you all for reading this blog and for commenting. I hope to make this blog into a book one day and give it to my children so they can see God’s faithfulness, as well as, what great people are out there praying for them!

Love you all,
Mary Lindsey

Must get back to packing!

By the way…

Happy Halloween. Did we dress up? Well, if you count…

Harper staying in her pj’s all day being almost completely covered in chocolate

…Chris dressing like a crazy Georgia Tech fan (for the good reason that he went to the GT game)

…Me wearing my new apron & donning Persian Melon (like the 1940’s house wife I am & in memory of my Mama Dot)

…And the boys acting like complete maniacs because it is a full moon & they are adjusting to new 4 hour schedule…

then yes we dressed up!!!! And ate pumpkin chocolate chip pakes (pancakes) for breakfast AND dinner

…it was quite the fun day… maybe next year we will even carve a pumpkin! I know… we’re wild.

(And in other news… the boys slept through the night with out a peep from ANY of them last night. First time. It was delightful, but after my body tasted so much sleep… it only wanted more. Sheesh. Maybe I’ll get some more tonight – hopefully!!! But won’t gain an extra hour since babies don’t turn back their clocks. Oh well. )

Meet Bekah

This is Bekah. Say hi.

Bekah helps me with life Monday – Thursday and a little on Friday and Sunday. She is amazing & quite talented… see…
This is her feeding 3 babies. She is really good at it, and it is nice to have a break from time to time! 🙂 She helps with all sorts of stuff around the house, taking care of the boys, and helping out with Harper. It is wonderful to have an extra set of hands around the house when Chris is at work.

She is newly married to Brandon (who might just be Harper’s first crush), and they have become part of our family. So, now when you see her in pictures, you will know who she is 🙂
