Five years ago today, I was about to walk down the aisle on my front lawn and say I DO to Chris. I went back to look at pictures of that day, and not only do Chris and I look skinny and young, but clueless. We had no idea of what was on the road ahead of us. Isn’t that what’s so exciting about weddings?!?!
This year we had talked about and planned to go to Lake Tahoe for our anniversary. We wanted to go somewhere neither of us had been… an adventure of sorts. Well, instead, we are going out to dinner because preggers can’t do much of anything these days. My mom is watching Harper, and we will enjoy celebrating and reminiscing the last 5 years, and dreaming about what the next 5 years will hold. Never would I have believed that we would have a precious baby girl and be expecting 3 boys by the time this day came around! But, I couldn’t be happier. Lake Tahoe…you will have to wait. We will visit you some day – probably with 4 kids in tow.
