22 Weeks Survey and Picture

Okay, I’m feeling much better now. Had a nap and a little dinner. And tomorrow is a new day! Now, onto a better post…

This is so weird, I went back to find the post I made when I was pregnant with Harper around 22 weeks, and it was done on the exact same day as this one! For comparison, I’m going to leave my answers up that I had with Harps, and put these new ones in italics. (I don’t know how to change text size, or do color or anything like that, so here it goes…)

How far along? 22 weeks and 3 days/ 22 weeks and 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: 15 pounds/ haha, well, 32 pounds!

Maternity clothes? In full swing! Just received a TON from my next door neighbor! Now at least I’m not wearing the same things over and over and over again!!!! / I’ve almost outgrown my maternity clothes. I can’t wear my button up shirts anymore as they pull at the belly and are just uncomfortable.

Stretch marks? hmmmm… a few have developed, but not on my tummy! 😉 / not yet… but they are coming…

Sleep: well, sleep is wonderful right now. I sleep like I am in a coma! I don’t hear anything, and Chris says I have picked up a new little hobby… snoring. Oh how delightful! I don’t want to be a snorer! That is gross! Hopefully, it will go a way once Harper arrives! He says I only do it every now and then… so maybe there is hope!/ I do still love my sleep! But I can only sleep for 2-3 hours at a time before I have to go to the bathroom. My poor bladder is squished! I also have been having some crazy heartburn at night. Last night I was up about every 30 minutes with that, until I finally took real medicine instead of just eating Tums like candy.

Best moment this week: shopping for my little girl on Saturday at the outlet mall, i got sooo many cute things – her crib dust ruffle, a bumper pad, 2 cute little outfits I couldn’t resist, and a shadow box frame. / starting to work on the nursery. I can finally start seeing things come together!

Movement: TONS!!! I’m trying to start keeping a kick count, but its hard! I just make sure she moves some every hour. She really goes to town when I’m eating. :-) She must like food like her mama! / Movement times 3! I’m beginning to decipher where each baby is located. At our last ultrasound, Baby A was head up, Baby B head down, and Baby C head up. It will be interesting to see if they have moved positions. It wont be long before they won’t have any more room to move, and I will be able to tell who is who!

Food cravings: Cinnamon rolls or muffins/ fruit (I usually keep a fruit salad of strawberries, oranges, grapes, apples, and pineapple cut up and ready for access) or salad with ranch dressing. Still have to eat some protein with each meal or snack or I feel shaky.

Gender: Its a GIRL! / It’s three boys!

Labor Signs: none thank goodness! Although I did have a little scare about 2 weeks ago. I had some cramping all across my abdomen, but it turned out just to be her growing and stretching me out! That happened Friday, and Sunday I had so many people coming up to me saying – oh my gosh, you actually look pregnant now!

Belly Button in or out? in, but shallow! / in only a tiny bit

Wedding rings on or off? off… only b/c they have been giving my finger a weird rash! I’m going to have them cleaned and see if that helps at all! / off so I don’t have to get them cut off. They do still fit, but i’ve heard my fingers can swell quickly at this point, and just not to risk it!

What I miss:eating a good hot dog. Weird, I don’t really even like hot dogs all that much, but since I can’t have them, I just want one. / Drinking as many cups of coffee as I want. I love coffee and wish I could have more, but I only drink 1 – 1 1/2 cups a day. Caffeine isn’t good for the babies. I also miss the ease of rolling over in bed. I am thankful we have a king size bed, otherwise I know I would knock Chris on the floor every time I change positions. It is a major process with about 6 pillows involved. haha!

What I am looking forward to: Chris feeling her move, AND starting to do stuff for the nursery! I will post a pic of what we are hoping for her nursery to turn out like! / Going to our ultrasound on Tuesday and having Mom meet the boys via the tv screen :-)

Weekly Wisdom: start collecting stuff now! Especially diapers! I try to buy 1 pack every time I go to the grocery store. I’m collecting all sizes so we will have some back ups. I know we will go through them so fast! / Hmmm… I am going through all my pictures I have saved from high school and college and condensing them down into a MUCH smaller pile. I won’t have time to do this after the babies arrive, so I might as well do it now!

Milestones: Finally choosing a name – Harper Grace! Going shopping for Harper, and feeling her move all the time! / Celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Also, working on the nursery! My next major milestone that we’re looking forward to is April 30th, when the boys will be 24 weeks. That is HUGE!!!! Only 1 1/2 weeks to go!!!

And here is a picture of me at 22 weeks, and a pic of our family before Chris and I went to celebrate our anniversary. Oh, my little round face. Babies, when you start needing fat, pull from that area first, okay??? :-)
