2 and 1 = 3

Thanks for your prayers, everyone!!!

Went to the Maternal Fetal Dr today & got another ultrasound. I’m carrying 2 identical babies & 1 fraternal baby. We are soooo excited, and the reality of having 3 sunk in a little more as we saw them all “swimming around” in there. They all measured 9 weeks 2 days, and had strong heartbeats in the 170’s.

One prayer request that we have is that they couldn’t 100% identify a membrane between the identical babies, which could pose a big risk (not sure what that risk is, but it’s a “big” one). The ultrasound tech thought she saw one, but wasn’t completely sure. She said it could be because it was early. So, we will go back in 3 weeks to get another scan done to look at the membrane as well as the placentas.

I have a peace that surpasses all understanding about the whole situation, and we’re trusting God for what lies ahead.

As for now I must wait, and grow the babies!

One other prayer request is for our house in GA to sell. It has been on the market for over a year due to the poor economy. Once again, we know that God is in COMPLETE control, and has provided in abundance for us already. It would just be nice to have that detail off of our plate!!!

Thank you for your prayers & we look forward walking this road with you!!

PS I will try to get our ultrasound pics scanned in this week, so you can meet our babies!

Let me just say you and your family are precious! When I saw you were expecting triplets I had a great big smile on my face! What a blessing! Thank you for allowing me and so many others on this journey with you! Josh and I will be praying for you daily!
I watch 2 sets of twins right now… The oldest set turns 4 tomorrow and the youngest set turns 2 in February. It is soooo much fun, but stressful at times! I like how you said you watch ‘Jon & Kate: Plus 8’ with a whole new perspective! God has blessed you for being faithful to him! Congratulations to you and your family!

  4. Mary Lindsey…
I just wanted you to know how excited I am for you. I am sure you feel overwhelmed, but I know from reading and just knowing you that you are turning to the Lord and He will see you through. Your sweet family is in my prayers. I know from having twins how much love I feel for them and you get to feel that love times 3, plus sweet little Harper! God Bless!

  7. Mary Lindsey! Congratulations on all four of your blessings! Well, 5 including hubby–(: I enjoyed looking at your blog and catching up with you. (My brother-in-law is Matt Brogli, so I was able to find you through him.) It’s been a LONG time since NRCA, but I have received updates on you over the years.

You are in my prayers! You are such a strong woman of faith and are simply inspiring.

  8. Oh, I’ve been praying all day for your appointment! I ran into your Dad at the grocery store yesterday and celebrated the news of the triplets with him! So exciting! And its so cool to know that there are 2 identical babies and 1 fraternal baby in there:) I will be praying for the membrane that separates the two- I know from our experience that having a “wall” between them often means 2 separate placentas and 2 separate amniotic sacs… Therefore the risks caused by them “sharing” everything are lessened. Can’t wait to hear about your next appointment! Praying for you!!!
